Hi to all Hills Art Collective artists.
As you are all very aware, COVID-19 has disrupted life for so many Australians and folk all around the world. It has also had an impact on our exhibitions. There will be no November exhibition, for obvious reasons. As a result, we have had to re-evaluate our future. Our decision is as follows: We have been given a wonderful opportunity to join up with Mt Barker Rotary, becoming the “Mt Barker Rotary & Hills Art Collective” art exhibition. We have accepted this offer, which is a great merger and a major asset to Hills Art Collective. We leave behind a great legacy, after seven successful years. Another factor in reaching this decision is that Sharon, our digital media co-ordinator, is very ill after the failure of her stem-cell transplant. Currently in hospital, she is a very brave and amazing woman. In closing, our first joint exhibition will be in November 2021. It will be fantastic to be part of the Rotary Art Exhibitions. We look forward to your participation in this exciting new venture. Yours sincerely, Annie and Sharon PAST EXHIBITIONS
